Russell Ventura graduated from Brown University in 1996 and the Villanova University School of Law in 1999.

For over three years after he graduated law school, Rusty worked in the Philadelphia litigation department of one of the largest law firms in the world. While there, Rusty worked on a variety of matters for a wide range of clients. He handled disputes between retail customers and a national chain of automobile service centers. He worked on a class action case against a national life insurance company for deceptive sales practices. He worked on cases that involved flawed pharmaceuticals. He defended small resturaunt franchisees from termination. In addition, he worked on a variety of other large and often complex commercial disputes.

Thereafter, Rusty joined a large retail automobile organization as its General Counsel. While at the organization, Rusty drafted and reviewed contracts and business arrangements. He managed outside litigation. He performed risk management and insurance consultation for the organization. In addition, Rusty was in charge of government and regulatory compliance for the organization.

After several successful years in the automobile industry, Rusty returned to private practice at a medium sized law firm in central Pennsylvania. While there, Rusty broadened his experience and worked on personal injury cases, Workers’ Compensation matters, automobile accident cases, medical malpractice disputes, and commercial disputes between individuals and companies.

In 2005, Rusty returned to Philadelphia to practice law. Upon his return, he joined a construction litigation firm where he handled countless matters involving contract disputes, filing and enforcing mechanic’s liens, delay claim disputes, construction defect cases, professional negligence claims and other commercial disputes primarily in the context of building construction.

Recently, Rusty served as the Associate General Counsel at a respected and well known national insurance brokerage. While there Rusty again worked on government and regulatory compliance for the company, and assisted with outside litigation. In addition, Rusty worked on insurance coverage issues for the brokerage’s clients. When clients would receive initial denials of coverage for claims from the insurance companies, Rusty would work with the insurance companies to try to secure coverage. Along with the General Counsel, Rusty assisted clients in recovering millions of dollars in insurance coverage for claims that were preliminarily denied or pending review.
